Reminder – Jerseys and Socks must be returned at end of tournament

  • $120 per player/goalie
    • Includes: 4 games, breakfast, lunch, welcome gift, post-game drinks & snacks
  • Teams will be drafted by the 4 Goalies (designated team captains)
  • Draft rounds will be comprised of players with similar skill level to ensure all teams are balanced
  • Order of draft position based on random card selection (teams 1,2,3,4)
  • Will be snake draft (teams 1,2,3,4 then reverse order teams 4,3,2,1 – etc.)
  • 4 teams (Red, Blue, Black, Gold)
  • 11 skaters and 1 goalie per team
    • 48 players total
  • 30 minute game, consisting of two 15 minute halves, running time
  • 4 game guarantee
  • 3x Round Robin + 1x Championship Game OR 1x Consolation Game
  • 5-on-5 gameplay format, change-on-fly
  • No timeouts
  • Each game will have two on-ice referees
  • Regular hockey rules apply for all penalties (2-minute minor penalties will be run-time)
  • Must line-up at centre-ice for face-off immediately following a goal, or a 2-minute delay of game penalty will be assessed via referee discretion
  • Non-contact – keep it clean, this is a fun event for charity
  • NO FIGHTING – you will be disqualified from the tournament and asked to leave the rink immediately
  • No red-line = no two-line pass rule, and icing will be waived once you exit your side of the blue-line
  • Slapshots are permitted
  • Round Robin games can finish in a tie
  • Win = 3 pts.
  • Tie = 1 pt.
  • Loss = 0 pts.

If two or more teams are points tied at the conclusion of the Round Robin, then the following procedure will be used to determine the final ranking before the Consolation and Championship games are played:

1. If two teams are tied in total points:

  • 1.1 – The winner of the Round Robin game between the two tied teams gains the higher position
  • 1.2 – The team with the most wins in the Round Robin gains the higher position
  • 1.3 – If the two teams are still tied after tiebreakers 1.1 and 1.2 have been applied:
    • The team with the best Goal Differential (GD) gains the higher position
      • The goal differential of a team will be determined in the following manner:
        • Total number of Goals For (GF) minus the total number of Goals Against (GA)
