THE MARY PARKINSON CHARITY CLASSIC IS A WORK OF PASSION
We are a one-of-a-kind single day non-profit hockey tournament donating net proceeds to Canadian Blood Services
Founded in 2018 by Julian & Krysta Peticca, the tournament is a way to remember Krysta’s aunt Mary Parkinson after she passed away at age 59 in December 2016.
A true community ambassador, Mary dedicated 25-years of service to the Richmond Hill Hockey Association and made a positive impact in the lives of thousands of children. We celebrate and continue Mary's legacy through this tournament while raising funds and awareness for Canadian Blood Services.
In 2018 the inaugural MPCC donated $3,300.00 to Canadian Blood Services – and we intend on surpassing that amount in 2020 at the second annual event. The tournament will take place Sunday, April 19, 2020 in Concord, ON at the Sports Village. Experience a one-of-a-kind single day charity hockey tournament. Be drafted. Play in four guaranteed games. Enjoy buffet-style breakfast and lunch. Win great prizes. And best of all; you'll be helping to give back in your community.
